Mission Statement

At Holmen Dirt, our mission is to build a thriving, inclusive, and inspiring dirt jump, BMX, and MTB community on Arsenaløen. We aim to foster passion for riding through safe, creative, and progressive experiences—open to all. Our goal is to empower riders of all ages and abilities to connect, grow, and express themselves in a positive and sustainable environment.

Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct applies to all riders, volunteers, coaches, parents, and visitors. By being part of Holmen Dirt, you agree to uphold the following values and behaviors:

1. Community & Inclusion

• Respect all individuals regardless of age, gender, background, or skill level.
• Welcome and support newcomers to feel at home at the park.
• Promote an inclusive, friendly atmosphere both on and off the track.

2. Safety First

• Always wear appropriate safety gear (helmet required; pads recommended).
• Ride within your abilities and encourage others to do the same.
• Follow signage and staff instructions. Unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
• Keep lines and landings clear—wait your turn and communicate with fellow riders.

3. Respect & Sportsmanship

• Support each other. Cheer, don’t cheer.
• Treat fellow riders, volunteers, and guests with courtesy and dignity.
• Set a positive example for younger and less experienced riders.

4. Growth & Learning

• Embrace progress over perfection—every session is an opportunity to grow.
• Share knowledge and coach others in a constructive, respectful manner.
• Accept feedback with an open mind and seek guidance when needed.

5. Creativity & Expression

• Express yourself through your riding, but do so with care for others and the park.
• Respect existing features—any modifications must be approved by park leaders.
• Take part in jam sessions, events, and creative building projects.

6. Environmental Stewardship

• Leave no trace. Dispose of trash and respect the natural surroundings.
• Help maintain the park: report damage, assist in clean-ups, and take pride in our shared space.
• Use bikes, tools, and resources responsibly.

7. Transparency & Accountability

• Communicate openly with team leaders and fellow riders.
• Raise concerns respectfully—feedback is welcomed and valued.
• Accept the consequences of actions that violate these values. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or removal from the park.
